Dad's Coronary Bypass Surgery
Monday, May 24, 2010

Most of them might be wondering with regard on me not updating my blog for so long, not going to school and walking around with that zombie looks.

In summaries, my dad had been going in and out of the hospital. Due to his requested check up early this May 2010, his check up report shows that his heart vessel had serious blockage. 2 had already 100% blocked whereby 1 had already 60% blocked. We are told that he needs a bypass surgery rather than ballooning as ballooning will not works for his condition.

After persuading my dad, he finally accepted to get his operation done as soon as possible. On the 17th May 2010, pushed into the operation room at 8pm. I went home after he went in as the nurse said that there is no point for us to wait as he will be asleep for about 6 hours after his operation.

Received a phone call from the hospital at 1.15am, telling me the operation was a success. Thank God!

Thanks Dear for playing my iPhone non-stop, if not I could had slept early without noticing the call from hospital
*I was nagging him to stop playing*

After Operation - Day 1

In ICU, when I reached, his oxygen pipe was already removed. He can speak. He keep telling me he is in pain. About 1 hour later, his heart beat rate became unstable, blood pressure goes too low. Doctor replacing back his oxygen pipe so as to stabilize his condition. When the oxygen pipe was on, my heart sank. You all wouldn't imagine how thick is the pipe. He can't move, talk and eat. Moreover, machines and needles is like all around him.

His heartbeat rate was like jumping up and down within 100-150. It's like "running". whereby it shouldn't be the case when he is asleep or lying down.

My heart pound faster than him when I'm looking at him.

ANYWAY!! after 6 day of staying in ICU, his condition gets better. Now he is in High Dependency Ward. Sooner he will be transferred to normal ward.

I wanted to thanks my relative for giving their supports. And my Aunt for helping my dad with his stall.

Last but not least, my boyfriend. Who actually helped me with some light household when I'm not at home. And thanks for accompanying me.

PS I Love My Dad.

Quote for the Day

Pure Beauty Heart!
We do not need a beautiful scenery to feel the beauty of this world, the pure heart with love is enough for us to feel the beauty of this world!
